Updates to inFlow Cloud
We’re constantly improving the inFlow Cloud experience and we generally update the system on Tuesday evenings (EST). If we expect any downtime, we’ll update our status page to let you know.
The good news is your subscription includes all of the updates and fixes we release. Here’s how to make sure you’re in the latest and greatest version of inFlow Cloud:
- inFlow Cloud for Windows updates automatically when you load it
- inFlow Cloud for Web just needs a page refresh in your browser
- inFlow Cloud for Android updates through the Google Play Store
- inFlow Cloud for iPhone updates through the App Store

December 17, 2024
General improvements:
- Sales orders can now be divided based on products that are out of stock (backorders) on inFlow for Web.
Stuff we’ve fixed:
- We fixed the issue that was preventing reports on inFlow for Web from being sorted in descending order.
- We have updated the phrasing of a QuickBooks Online alert message when an invoice has an invalid payment.
- There was an issue where the subject line and CC field were empty when emailing documents in inFlow for Web.
- We’ve resolved an issue where order documents (PDF files) attached to emails were missing their file extensions.
- There was an issue where inFlow Pay emails were sent to all inFlow admins, even after those admins were removed from the inFlow account.
- There was an issue with products without pricing for non-default pricing schemes not reverting to the default pricing.
- We fixed an issue that prevented customers from connecting to the latest version of Zapier.
- There was a problem with the documents, which did not print the products in the same order as they appeared in the product table for stock adjustments, stock counts, and stock transfers after sorting by sublocation.

General improvements:
- Documents from inFlow can be added as an attachment instead of a document link.
- The “PO#” field in inFlow sales orders will now transfer to the “Reference” field on Xero invoices.
- The Copy button on purchase orders now lets you create dropship orders, and the Copy button on sales orders can now be used to create a new purchase order.
Stuff we’ve fixed:
- We’ve fixed an issue that was preventing users with view-only access to purchase orders from creating new sales orders with the Copy button.
- There was an issue where changes made to the pricing scheme on the sales order would not save if the new pricing scheme price was $0, which caused the sales order to revert to the default pricing scheme.
- We resolved the issue that caused incorrect fonts to appear in documents sent via email from inFlow.
- There was an issue where the Document Designer wasn’t loading the custom field information from the pick, shipping, and restock product tables that are in the related sales order tabs.
- We fixed the issue where the default price wasn’t showing up in the product list on inFlow for Mobile.
- We’ve made some updates to fix the problem where logging into inFlow for Web would sometimes hang on the loading screen.
- We resolved an issue that allowed non-approver users to email and print non-approved purchase orders.

General improvements:
- We’ve made improvements to custom fields on inFlow for Web! You can now effortlessly create drop-down menus, checkboxes, text fields, and date fields, giving you the flexibility to optimize inFlow like never before!
Stuff we’ve fixed:
- We resolved an issue that affected some users who were not receiving low-stock email notifications.
- We fixed an issue where customers with an email linked to a private showroom experienced an error when signing up for an inFlow trial.
- We fixed a rounding error that was preventing inFlow from pushing orders to Xero.
- There was an issue where updating customer names in inFlow wouldn’t update the customer name on their private showroom.
- We fixed an issue where dragging and dropping attachments on inFlow for Web would create a duplicate attachment.

General improvements:
- We have updated inFlow for Mobile to allow sublocation scanning, redesigned the product picker for adding products to orders and transactions, and made backend changes to enhance overall performance.
Stuff we’ve fixed:
- There was an issue with the per-user list view display settings not being saved in inFlow for Web.
- We fixed the “Invalid email or password” error that showed up when the inFlow for Mobile app went inactive or to sleep.

Stuff we’ve fixed:
- We resolved an issue where links from inFlow for Windows to inFlow for Web weren’t loading correctly.
- We have made some updates to the Xero integration to support additional tax rates.
- We resolved an issue where customers received the “Switch Complete” message even though they were no longer using the inFlow trial sample data.
- There was an issue with inFlow not formatting dates to match the browser settings.
- We fixed an issue that prevented reports from being saved as PDF or CSV files.
- We fixed an issue that was preventing customers from booking a call with their Customer Success Manager in the inFlow settings.
September 17, 2024
General improvements:
- For sales orders using EasyPost, the country field will automatically fill based on the shipping address on the order.
Stuff we’ve fixed:
- There was an issue with inFlow not logging out after the account password was reset.
- Some customers were getting a billing message banner in inFlow, even though their payment had been processed.
- We fixed an issue where deleting categories in inFlow for Web was causing an error.
- There was an issue where stock counts could not be saved if a negative number was entered in the counted quantity field.

General improvements:
- In the Email Designer, the search bar is automatically selected when you search for variables.
- You can access all custom fields for stock transfers and stock adjustments in the Email Designer.
Stuff we’ve fixed:
- We’ve corrected the misaligned back button on the reports screen.

- QuickBooks Online now offers a two-way payment sync option, allowing payments from both QuickBooks Online and inFlow.

General improvements:
- We have added additional customer and vendor contact variable options to the Email Designer.
- A Not now button has been added to the Email and Document Designer opt-in screen, allowing you to keep your existing email and document settings in inFlow Inventory for Windows.
Stuff we’ve fixed:
- We resolved an issue where EasyPost wasn’t loading in inFlow for Windows.
- There was an issue that prevented Showroom accounts from logging in to place orders.

General improvements:
- You can create professional email templates using inFlow’s Email Designer.
Stuff we’ve fixed:
- There was an issue where customers using “Desktop mode” on iPad browsers wouldn’t be able to take a photo and attach the file to orders.
- We resolved an issue that caused a “Something went wrong” error when switching between inFlow for Mobile and other Android/iOS apps.
- There was an issue where emails sent from inFlow for Web didn’t respect the line breaks that were added to the email message field.
- We’ve fixed several misaligned buttons/links in inFlow for Web.
- We fixed an issue where single sign-on users were not prompted to log in again after closing the browser.
