  Progress indicators on orders:

inFlow Inventory's progress indicator for sales and purchase orders

While working on a purchase or sales order, inFlow now shows a progress indicator in the bottom-right corner. For example, if you’re in the Pick tab of a sales order, you can now see what percentage of the order has been picked. This is great for showing the current status of an order to anyone who views it, without having to leave all sorts of remarks and notes for other teammates.

Give it a shot and let us know what you think!

General improvements:

  •  We’ve added the Lesotho Loti as a currency option.

Create barcodes right from inFlow Inventory

We've added new settings to help you get barcoded faster

We’ve had a lot of questions from inFlow customers about how to get started with barcoding, so we saw this as a great opportunity to make things a little bit easier. inFlow Inventory for Windows can now help you to automatically fill in your barcode fields for all products, or any products you create going forward. For more details, see our barcoding support article.

If you’d like to print off a set of barcode labels based on your current stock, this update has you covered too! Our Current Stock screen now offers an option to print labels, and our label printing article has the full instructions.

General improvements:

  •  To prevent accidental database recalculations, we’ve added an extra confirmation step before you change your costing method or currency.

Stuff we’ve fixed:

  •  When importing Sales Order, Pre-Tax price wasn’t being calculated for Tax-Inclusive items.
  •  At mobile sizing, the View List button is causing the top bar to shift down and overlap the record title bar.
  •  The menu was not visible when viewing the web app on a phone-sized screen with a trial account.
  •  The inFlow Inventory checkout page didn’t reflect the quantity of team members selected on the My Trial page.
  •    Customers who only had an On-Premise account were not given proper errors when they tried to log into our apps (you need a Cloud account in order to use them).
  •    Pricing Schemes weren’t sorting alphabetically on mobile as they do on inFlow Inventory for Windows.

   Improvements for tablets

The inFlow Inventory web app is now optimized for use on tablets (yep, like the iPad!). We’ve made buttons bigger, expanded the list view, and made it generally more touch friendly.

For more details, check out the blog post!

Stuff we’ve fixed:

  •  The Top 5 Section of the dashboard should no longer show “Failed to refresh”.
  •  You can now properly sign up for an inFlow Inventory account with your Google login.

Stuff we’ve fixed:

    •  Blank fields in a customer/vendor import would prevent the file from importing completely.
    •  Our QuickBooks Online integration previously had trouble syncing if the order had Item Names or Descriptions in Chinese characters.
    •  Fixed an issue with copying sales orders where the taxing scheme in the original order was changed before it was copied

August 7, 2018

General improvements:

  •  Some users mentioned they weren’t sure if inFlow Inventory was finished saving data, so we’ve added a save animation to the order screens to help make this clearer (your order is saved when the animation disappears).
  •  The item picker on web sales orders now has improved full text search for Item NameDescription, and Category.

Stuff we’ve fixed

  •  The Showroom settings on Windows are now working properly again.
  •  The product record won’t show locations that have zero stock in them anymore (aside from the default location).
  •  When a team member had the Edit Customer access right disabled, they will no longer be able to create customers from the web app landing page.
  •    Non-stocked and service products can no longer have a quantity or be added to stock adjustments.

 Import sales quotes

As of today’s update, you can now import sales quotes right into inFlow Inventory. So if you make quotes using another system, or if you receive them in batches, then this week’s update should help to speed up your workflow!

General improvements:

  •  The new sales order custom fields (added in our July 24 update) can now be included in reports.
  •  We’ve reduced the amount of time it takes for you to recalculate your database (relevant when switching currencies or costing methods).
  •  inFlow Inventory for Windows now requires Microsoft .NET 4.61 or newer (for .NET upgrade details, see this email).

Stuff we’ve fixed:

  •   inFlow could previously show misleading subtotals on orders where a unit price had over five decimal places.
  •  Web sales orders were showing a squished product picker if you didn’t select a customer first.
  •  The extra custom fields for sales orders were not showing up in the web app.
