We’ve compiled a list of resources such as sample custom documents, language files, and much more. Scroll down to see more!
Custom documents
Here are some of the documents that we have created. You can modify them if you wish. Please have a look here for how to edit a document or add a column.
Custom POs
- Custom Purchase Order with text boxes: This template is designed to be easier to manipulate, so you can save time on formatting. It fits up to 10 products on one page.
- Sample “Classic” template: This template is designed to look like inFlow’s default “Classic” template.
- “Modern” template with barcodes: This template displays barcodes in a separate column. If you want to use this document, be sure to replace the font of the ItemBarcode column with the correct font (see here for steps!).
Custom invoices
Note: Due to the complex nature of custom documents, the inFlow team is unable able to provide customizations or in-depth support for custom documents.

- “Modern” template with line numbers: This template has a “line number” column to number your products. If you’d like to add line numbers to your existing custom document template, take a look at this article here.
- Totals at the end of the template: Templates containing “tables” in Microsoft Word will repeat the totals on each page. If you only want to show the total at the end of a multi-page document, use this template. You cannot use any tables or borders for this.
- Cash Register/POS small receipt template This template is for use with POS/ Cash Registers. You’ll have to adjust the paper size according to your printer before using it as each printer may be different.
- Sample document for extra columns: The steps to recreate this are documented in this article on “how do I add columns to my order“.
- Sample invoice with item total weight: This template can be used if you need to show the item’s total weight on your invoices. Note that this will not show unit weight, only the quantity multiplied by unit weight.
- Sample Price Labels for barcodes: This can be used if you need to print labels for your items from inFlow.
- Bill of Lading: This custom document has weight and total volume fields for every line item.
Language files
These languages are not included in inFlow Inventory, but some users have generously contributed them. Email us your customized languages too! See instructions on how to import other languages.
Please note: at the moment inFlow Inventory doesn’t support language translations. When importing any of the above files, you may notice that some areas of inFlow will still be in English. We’re really sorry for the trouble here.
Barcode scanners

“Plug and play” barcode scanners
You can typically use any USB barcode scanner. You can check some out on Amazon.com here.
If you’re interested in a wireless scanner, we have tested a few models and have some setup tips and suggestions for wireless scanners.
Barcode printers
You can use your own printers to print barcodes on a sticker label. If you need something more sophisticated, it’ll be the thermal printers.
DYMO, Zebra, and Brother label printers can be connected to inFlow to print barcode labels. To learn more, take a look at the inFlow product label article.
